Entertainment leads to action

I have a friend who is getting a puppy. His teenage daughter is excited because the puppy will give her new opportunities for social media posts. Entertainment leads to action.

When I was young I remember watching the $6 million man. There was an episode where some edge I was doing something in Steve Austin had to stop him and he clapped both hands over the guys ears so that heard the guy and maybe I drop whatever he was doing in pain. The next week somebody thought it would be funny to clap me on the ears from behind and see if I fell to the floor which I did. Entertainment leads to action.

Karate movies come out and there is a surge of people that join karate dojo's. Recent movies come out and people rushed to go see NASCAR race. Horseracing movies come out and people go to the tracks and lose money betting or start writing. Entertainment leads to action.

Video games enable people to run around and virtual worlds modeled after the world that we live in and shoot and kill multiple people multiple times. Movies come out about murder and running from the law and hunting people. What does entertainment lead to?

9 1/2 weeks came out and showed a man and a woman using interesting things and situations to stimulate each other sexually. Including the woman dressing up and wearing mustache makeup and outfits that made her look like a guy. Now homosexuals get married legally and have parades based on their sexual preference. Entertainment leads to action.

Most people have enough sense to not go out and act out what they consume is entertainment. Many will ingest advice on finances and then go out and adjust their finances accordingly. Many will it take in political views and discussions and then go out and rant and rail against whatever it is that they listen to or for it. Our entertainment is so diversified right now that it's hard to pick up on the trends of entertainment leading to behavior. And then something like the tide pod challenge will happen. Or something like planking will happen. Floor, sadly, in a quest for fame and a moment of glory mass shootings happen. Entertainment leads to action.

Be careful what you take in is entertainment. More people you hurt trying new sexual positions after watching something that they probably shouldn't be watching than you can imagine. Young kids who don't have the self-control will watch with their mommy or daddy and because there's only one parent around when they left alone long enough to try to act out what they saw. And then we have a news story about whatever it is that they get hurt doing.

Different women's reactions

Black women react to men differently than white women do. Because of the culture that there are a part of men are different and out to get whatever they want and leave and usually end up just costing money and effort. Men are there to have fun with the don't have any level of commitment.

It makes for a strange dynamic in the mixed environment and create some different reactions at least in me as a white male.

Buckets

It's sad how we let people out is into buckets and think we're getting some sort benefit from that.

As Americans we glory in how we don't fit into anyone's "bucket" and how we redefine the boxes they use to try to limit and control us.
