China has implemented a social rating system that can either smooth or restrict citizens' ability to travel and conduct business. China is a communist country.
In freedom-loving countries those same systems are slowly being implemented.
How long before impolite people are charged more or restricted some based on their behavior?

Positive vs negative
Positive versus negative comments are said to have a 10 to 1 weight ratio. When you encourage people to attend positive comments supposedly can be wiped out by one negative comment. That's why negative things seem to be so powerful.
If you'll notice, the press stays negative. The press reports the negative people. Political commercials tend to stay negative.
What I would like to see is a company follow the advertising method that politicians follow. Companies have opponents. Companies are trying to defeat other companies in the business of making a profit. Someone ago I slam everything else all right and win by being negative just like the politicians do?
It's because the positive is so much better and so much more powerful in the long run. Yes, in the short run negative works. But in the long run positive always wins.
Keep that in mind as you consume things online and the through whatever media you are looking at. That sweet morsel of negativity will lose.

Paying taxes
My wife had a friend that wanted to live with us. The friend had to teenage children. The schools where she lived or not very good. And so she wanted to move in with us for a month and change her address to our address so that she could then enroll her kids and our schools and get out of the schools that were not quite as good as ours.
I told my wife n. As a homeowner I pay property taxes. We also live and work in our county and so we pay most of our sales taxes here in our county. And so we support our schools with our tax payments.
This woman wanted to be able to show legally that she lived in our county but she would pay no taxes and would continue to do her thing in her County and not bring any money into our school system.
And that's the crux of one of our major issues with people coming illegally into our country. These people are coming in and do good money and support from our government. Our government doesn't just create the money out of thin air; they're using the taxes that we citizens pay to give people who have no intention of paying taxes money. In an effort to get their illegal vote and when elections in a way that appear to be legal but are more and more turning into very illegal endeavors.
As an American I pay my taxes. I claim deductions. And I file my paperwork and send in my check on time to support my country. That's what Americans do.

Loyalty and AI
As more and more hiring managers lean on artificial intelligence services to help them sift through applications for employment and resumes loyalty will become more and more important.
We all live in great pools of data that we don't have control over. Phone calls, emails, social media posts and comments, browsing histories, online payments and purchases, fitness data, all will paint a very descriptive picture of it behaviour.
When people are loyal their data will reflect it.
Artificial intelligence isn't some bogey man waiting to scare everybody by running amuck and it of control. They are basically pattern recognizers that can sort through mounds of data and use that data to predict things.
