Psychological warfare is closely related to marketing. Ideas are promoted and pounded on until people get it. Thinking is adjusted due to the environmental person is thinking in. And there clear goals and objectives being sought that in the in compliance of the individual or group.
As an American I resist those sort of things. Liberty says that I do not have to listen to it and I do not have to participate in it.
One of my favorite talk show hosts would always talk about downturns in the economy and the news and then boast that he was not participating in that downturn and just living his life. I took that to heart, and learned to just do my thing and maybe take some advantage out of all the fear and anxiety that was being fed and encouraged. Along that vein I'm trying not to participate in what's happening now. All the hype over new varients of the possibly-lab-grown virus designed to be spread and mutate. It's just not fun and I'm really tired of hearing about it. And so in tune it out and turn it off after I check to see if anything's changed and just go about my daily life.
The hard part of that is that the pressure is there. My sense of responsibility tells me that I need to take care of those around me. I had a recent bout of that where I went to a party and kept my distance from people. The next day my wife got on to me a little bit and said she didn't understand. After I explained about the high rate of infections happening in our county and in my workplace and that I did not want to be the one that infected the others at this party in a completely different part of the state that we live in she seemed to understand. And even though I do not really fear this thing that's happening I still feel that sense of responsibility and try not to spread it to anybody.
The constant barrage of westernized words and narrative is having its effect on our society. People trust less. People take advantage more. Help wanted signs everywhere but people are not working and giving up because of all the illegal immigration that's being allowed and not battled against.
As an American I'm free to not participate in those things. Sadly, though, I can't completely turn away because then I might abdicate my position and give up freedom without knowing it. So I stay aware, I stay alert, and I encourage others to do the same. And I exercise my liberty and freedom without infringing on others.
